Welcome to the Unipol information for owners section. On these pages you will find lots of useful information about the services we provide, the benefits of joining Unipol and helpful advice on issues effecting the process of letting to students. To gain access to all the information available in this section you will need to be a member of Unipol.
If you are a current member of Unipol login here or use the link on the right hand side called Members Area. Once logged in you will see a link called 'View exclusive Members only pages on Owners' site', this will take you to the exclusive membership area. If you wish to make advert amends, generate contracts or use the Unipol/TDS scheme just use the appropriate link on the Owners' Administration System as before.

Membership of Unipol - real benefits
As a member of Unipol you will be able to access exclusive services and important market information. Some of the services and information available only to members is noted below:
- The Model Tenancy Generator - create Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreements free of charge using an online generator;
- The Unipol/TDS Scheme - if you are also a member of the Unipol Code you can protect deposits for as little as £14.00 + VAT per tenancy. Unipol and the Dispute Service are working together to be able to offer competitive rates to landlords with smaller portfolios;
- Landlord Training - This year Unipol are running eight training modules geared particularly at members of Unipol. The subjects covered reflect what landlords have told us they need to know;
- Special training events - Unipol will be offering training events and support for members on how to get the most from their membership and the advertising service at Unipol. Training on using the Owners Administration System and generating contracts will be available;
- Regular analysis of the Leeds housing market - This valuable information will let you know what is letting and where, Unipol website hit rates and advice on rents;
- Quarterly Newsletter - The 'Unipol Landlord' is packed full of up-to-date news on what Unipol is doing and the market. There is information on the Unipol Code and news of any sector changes that are likely to effect you.
- Unipol briefings on market trends - Unipol hold several briefings on the student market in Leeds each year. This valuable information will no longer be in the public domain and will only be available to members who are also members of the Unipol Code;
- Owners Consultative Group meetings - view dates of when these meetings will take place;
- Larger Providers Consultative Group meetings - view dates of when these meetings will take place;
- Help for owners - This section includes information on Housing Health and Safety Rating System, gas safety certification, EPCs, Landlord's Energy Saving Allowance (LESA), low maintenance gardens
How to join and membership rates
Becoming a member of Unipol is easy. Membership runs from the day you join until 31 December 2010.
I am an owner with 1 property: £50
I am an owner with 2 - 30 Properties: £75
I am an owner with 31 Properties or over: £100
I am a Managing Agent who will not be advertising: £250
I am a Larger Development who will not be advertising: £400
