New accreditation scheme launched by Unipol

A new accreditation scheme run by Unipol for those landlords and agents who advertise properties through the Accommodation for Students (AfS) website has been launched. The Unipol/AfS Code UK Accreditation Scheme or Unipol/ AfS Code is specific to student accommodation and combines both a landlord training element and verification visits of 1-in-5 or more of landlords properties. The purpose of this Code is to establish a voluntary national benchmark standard that is understood and offers reassurance to students and parents using the AfS website.
