Starting from the Unipol office on Woodhouse Lane, at the traffic lights turn right onto Blackman Lane. At Second traffic lights turn right onto the A660. Branch left (signposted YORK, [A64(M)] M1, STATION.) to join A64(M) inner ring road.

Leave the A64M at the A61 Junction for Regent Street (signposted City Centre) then at traffic signals under the viaduct turn right A61 (signposted All Loop Traffic, Wakefield).

Stay in left hand lane (Marsh Lane) and go under the railway viaduct and soon after:

If dropping off passengers

Take second turning on the left (through traffic lights) - Mill Street (just after Mill Street development). Pedestrian Entrance is at corner of Marsh Lane and Mill Street.

Vehicular Entrance – note no car parking – only to be used for drop off.

Take first turning on the left (at traffic lights) – Saxton Lane. Take first turning on right – Foundry Street (just after garage). The vehicular entrance for Mill Street is ahead of you.

Car Parking

Use any city centre car park that has spaces available. The nearest car parks are at Quarry Hill off St. Peter's Street (next to West Yorkshire Playhouse) and the multi-storey on New York Street. There is expensive short term parking available outside the "Palace" public house on Kirkgate near New York Street.

1, 7 and 11 New York Street are located to the right of Kirkgate Market, when viewed from Vicar Lane. There is short term multi-storey car park to the rear of New York Street, between the bus station and the market. Additional parking is available in other car parks in the area. The one way system is quite tricky in this area and some streets are buses only. The flats are above No.1 Chinese Buffet and an Opticians.
