Refuse Disposal

Wherever you are living as a student you should always dispose of your waste sensibly.  Please ensure that all household rubbish is bagged up in bin liners and placed in the bins provided outside your property; it is incredibly important that you do this as the refuse collectors will not take any items that are left outside the bins, resulting in rubbish being left out indefinitely. This is a general eyesore, unhygienic and could encourage an escalation in the rodent population of Leeds. Environmental enforcement officers have also been known to examine stray bags for information and exact fixed fines on the culprit.
