What to do in an emergency

In the event of an emergency during office hours, contact Unipol immediately by coming to the Unipol office or by phoning on 0113 2443799. If you live in Mill Street  you can also contact reception during their opening hours. Look at the Mill Street  pages for contact information.

Out of Office hours arrangements

Unipol employ security to staff an out of hours service, based at one of the complexes in Leeds. They work from 8pm to 8am Monday to Friday and at weekends and can respond to urgent situations.

To make use of this service call the Unipol out of hours emergency number on 0113 2443799.

The areas that security can help you with are:

Emergency Repairs including securing a room or building after a burglary

Emergency Repairs are those required to avoid a danger to health, a risk to safety or serious damage to buildings and which need immediate attention.

If a repair is not an emergency, then report it to Unipol during office hours or using the online repair report form.

Losing your keys

If you are locked out from your property and you live in a Unipol complex call the out of hours service. After verifying your identity, security will help you to access the building.

If you live in a small house, security do not have duplicate keys so please try and arrange to stay with a friend for the night and then contact the Unipol office in the next working day. If this is not possible a locksmith can be arranged via security but you will be charged for the callout, change of locks and change back to suited locks (if applicable).

The following circumstances will be dealt with more effectively by other agencies:

Serious disturbances or threats

Please contact the police directly if you are affected by a serious disturbance or feel threatened or have been burgled. It would be useful but not essential to also report it to security so that Unipol staff receive a report of the incident as soon as possible and can follow this up quickly.

Noise

If you are disturbed by a serious and prolonged noise nuisance please contact Leeds City Council out of hours Noise Nuisance line on 0113 240 7361.
